our story

Excel Church, formerly Kingdom Builders Church, is where lives are transformed through grace, growth and the generous love of Christ. Led by Pastor K. Francis Smith, Excel Church has grown from 30 members in 2005 to over 2,000. Victory Lives Here! 

Excel cares about one thing more than anything else, Jesus Christ. Excel Church is a family of individuals that have found hope in Jesus, and simply want as many people as possible to experience that exact same freedom.

GOD IS OUR EVERYTHING

GROUNDED BIBLICAL TEACHING 
Acts 2:42 - They were continually devoting themselves to the apostles’ teaching Gathering together in worship and fellowship

Acts 2:46-47 - Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, 47 praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people.

what we believe

In the triune God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit; Jesus Christ is true God and true man. (Matthew 3.16)

The Holy Spirit is a divine person. (Acts 5.3-4)

All Scripture is given by the inspiration of God. (2 Tim 3.16)

All have sinned and come short of the glory of God and are in need of salvation. (Romans 3.23)

Salvation has been provided through Jesus Christ for all men. (John 10.3)

The Church consists of all who have received Jesus Christ as their personal Savior. (Acts 9.31)

In the personal, visible, imminent return of Jesus Christ (1 Thessalonians 4.16)

In water baptism and observance of the Lord’s Supper (Matthew 28.19-20, 1 Corinthians 11.23, 26)

About Our Pastor

Pastor K. Francis Smith is a communicator, and the visionary leader of Excel Church. Launched in 2005, under his leadership Excel, formerly Kingdom Builders, has grown from 35 to over 2,000 members.  

Pastor Smith is a three-time graduate of Luther Rice Seminary and University with a Bachelor of Arts in Religion, Master of Arts in Leadership, Master of Divinity in Apologetics and is currently pursuing a PhD. He is a devout family man and is completely committed to loving God, loving people, and making disciples.
