Free Groceries To Go: A Local Lifeline

Excel Church, formerly Kingdom Builders Church, is where lives are transformed through grace, growth and the generous love of Christ. Led by Pastor K. Francis Smith, Excel Church has grown from 30 members in 2005 to over 2,000. Victory Lives Here!


Days and Times: 1st Saturdays every month 10am-12pm 

Our Free Groceries To Go program is more than a food distribution initiative; it's a monthly reminder of our commitment to feeding the body and the spirit. This outreach provides essential nutritional support to families and individuals facing food insecurity in our community, reflecting Jesus' call to feed the hungry as found in Matthew 25:35-40, where He says, "For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat…”

The Chosen Experience Ministry - Global Outreach Initiative Location: Ghana, West Africa 

  • Through the Chosen Experience Ministry, we sponsor children in Ghana, ensuring they have access to food, education, shelter, and most importantly, the knowledge of Christ's love for them. 
 


  • This initiative is a fulfillment of James 1:27, which calls us to look after orphans and widows in their distress, demonstrating the pure and faultless religion before our Father. Quarterly Outreach Initiatives. Each of our ministries participates in quarterly outreach initiatives designed to impact different areas of need within our community and beyond.   

  • These initiatives range from environmental stewardship projects, supporting local shelters, engaging in prison ministry, to international missions. By actively participating in these outreaches, our church lives out the commandment found in Galatians 6:2, "Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way, you will fulfill the law of Christ."

EZone Kids Ministry

Engages children in local community clean-ups, teaching them the importance of caring for God's creation, as highlighted in Genesis 2:15. 

Exodus Middle School and ENation Student Ministries

Partner with local shelters to provide meals and support, embodying the essence of Proverbs 19:17, "Whoever is generous to the poor lends to the Lord, and he will repay him for his deed." 

She Excels - Women's Ministry

When she speaks, her words are wise, and she gives instructions with kindness," embodying the ministry's goal to uplift and empower women through the love of Christ. 

Made Men Ministry 

Quarterly Outreach Focus

Addressing the physical needs of the community, Made Men participates in initiatives like home repair projects for the elderly and disabled, inspired by James 2:15-16, emphasizing faith expressed through action, especially in helping those unable to help themselves

SALT 50+ Seniors Ministry

Focuses on mentoring and tutoring programs, investing in the next generation as instructed in Titus 2:3-5, encouraging older men and women to teach what is good and train the younger ones. 

Excel In Marriage

Couples engage in workshops and seminars for young couples and singles, providing guidance and support based on Ephesians 5:22-33, emphasizing the sanctity and importance of marriage. Success Stories Be inspired by the powerful stories of transformation resulting from our outreach and mission efforts. Each story is a testament to the impact of living out our faith in action, offering hope and healing to a world in need. 

Media Ministry 

Quarterly Outreach Focus

The Media Ministry extends its reach beyond the church through digital evangelism campaigns aimed at spreading the Gospel online, aligning with Mark 16:15, leveraging modern technologies to fulfill the Great Commission. 

Guest Services 

Quarterly Outreach Focus

By organizing community appreciation events for local first responders and teachers, Guest Services reflects the love of Christ found in Philippians 2:3-4, valuing others above ourselves and looking to the interests of others in our community. 

Dance Ministry 

Quarterly Outreach Focus

Bringing the message of hope and salvation through the arts, the Dance Ministry performs in public spaces, based on Psalm 149:3, using the gift of dance to praise God and witness to His grace and beauty. 

Excel Worship 

Quarterly Outreach Focus

Organizing free worship concerts in local parks, Excel Worship embodies Psalm 96:1-2, inviting the community to sing a new song to the Lord, sharing the joy and freedom found in worshiping God. Deacons Quarterly Outreach Focus: Focused on serving the practical needs within the community, the Deacons lead by example in acts of service, grounded in 1 Timothy 3:13, serving those in need and thereby gaining a good standing and great assurance in their faith.
